Bees

Gledhow Valley Allotments has more than one bee hive. They are managed by a dedicated team who ensure everything is running ok. 

Occasionally the bees may swarm. This can be a worrying sight, but usually at this period the bees are not harmful. They are looking for a new nest. If you see this around the allotment or in the neighbourhood, please phone one of these contacts:
