Welcome to the website for Chapel Allerton Allotments and Gardens Association (CAAGA). We were established in 1917 and have been a feature of the Chapel Allerton community for many years. Our Aims: The aim of our Association is to promote an interest in gardening and horticulture, through encouraging our members to share advice and practical help, and providing opportunities for spreading a wider understanding of the social and health benefits of gardening. Who we are : CAAGA has around 380 members from all parts of the community and from all walks of life. The Gledhow Valley Allotments are also members of CAAGA, but membership of CAAGA is open to anyone with an interest in gardening, and many of our members do their gardening at home. The Association is a non-profit making organisation and is run on behalf of the members by a committee of elected officers and members in accordance with our constitution CAAGA Constitution. What we do: CAAGA’s key activities are running the Distribution Centre on the Northbrook Street site, arranging an annual programme of shows and visits, and providing social activities for members.
